We know that independent school tuition can be expensive for any family. We also believe it is one of the most important investments you and your family will ever make. To help make our program more affordable, The College School offers need-based financial aid to qualifying families.
Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application online and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS. You may submit your application online at www.factstuitionaid.com. There is a required non-refundable application fee of $30.
Once an online application is completed, the following information is required for FACTS to process your application:
- Copies of your 2017 Federal tax return including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of your 2017 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
All supporting documentation can be faxed to 1-866-315-9264 or mailed to:

We can only award financial aid grants once a student is accepted and his/her financial aid file is complete. We recommend that families do not complete their financial aid application until they have all the required documentation, as decisions are based on the information provided on both. We do our best to accommodate all families who qualify for aid. Aid awards vary across families and can cover up to 40% of tuition. We are not able to offer 100% tuition grants.
After being accepted to The College School, students receiving an aid award will receive an award letter from Vincent Flewellen, Director of Equity and Inclusion, and Marc Langhauser, Business Manager. Families can choose to accept the award by signing and returning the letter with their enrollment contract.
An application for financial aid needs to be resubmitted each year, as the pool of families receiving aid shifts over time. Sometimes, family financial circumstances change considerably (e.g. job loss, etc.). As a result, we ask families to re-apply for aid each school year.
For information on need-based financial aid or Diversity Scholarship Grants and Sixth/Seventh Diversity Merit Leadership Grants, contact Vincent Flewellen, Director of Equity and Inclusion.
