Scott is a seasoned and gifted experiential educator, with experience at public and independent schools, as well as leading adventure education trips. Previously, Scott was a Fourth-Sixth Grade science teachers at Chesterfield Day School. In addition to science, being the Green Schools Quest coordinator, and running a project-based classroom, he also developed an experiential, outdoor-based science curriculum for Fourth through Sixth Grade that incorporated weeklong camping, canoeing, and rock climbing expeditions in the Smokies, the Ozarks, and Wisconsin. Before Chesterfield Day School, Scott taught science at Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle School for five years and as the Middle School Expedition Coordinator he developed trips to North Carolina similar to our Field Ecology.  Throughout his career, Scott has taught science and general studies to various elementary grades in SLPS, Imagine Academy, and Clayton Schools.
