Our sixth graders headed to Don Robinson State Park to practice orienteering as part of their Wilderness theme. Learning to navigate outdoors challenges students to observe carefully, interpret maps, think through choices, and adjust when a route doesn’t go as planned.
Each decision is an opportunity to build problem-solving skills, practice teamwork, and grow more confident in their own judgment. These experiences help prepare students for their wilderness adventures while building persistence and independence that they can carry into everyday life. @mostateparks
