Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications, Webster University

Janelle began at The College School in 2010 teaching our school’s youngest students in the Big Bend classroom. She brings to The College School, a strong philosophy for constructivist and experiential education and experience leading outdoor adventures for older children. Her education includes a BA in Communications with a minor in Sociology from Webster University, and she is a graduate of the Trails Wilderness School in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Janelle also enjoys using her outdoor skills supporting upper grade level trips, including the sixth grade Wilderness Experience. Outside of the classroom, Janelle has served the school in several capacities including Language Arts Strand Chair, Board Representative, and Chair of the Head of School Advisory Committee. Janelle and her family live in Compton Heights, and enjoy local parks, gardening, cycling, and the arts.
