There are many ways to get involved through volunteer opportunities at The College School. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or alum, your time and energy make a lasting impact on our programs and community.
Parent and Family Volunteer Opportunities
As a parent or guardian, you can engage with our community regularly, occasionally, or even just once a year. Volunteer opportunities at The College School include:
Parent Crew. Our main network of parent volunteers. Help organize events, support teachers, and lead community-building efforts.
Room Parent. Be a vital liaison between classroom teachers and fellow parents. Coordinate classroom parties, communications, and support efforts.
Event Volunteer. Help with setup, coordination, and hospitality for events like Track or Treat, the Book Fair, and Grandfriends’ Day.
LaBarque Green Crew. Join seasonal clean-ups and stewardship efforts at our outdoor learning space at the LaBarque Campus.
Coach a Sports Team. Volunteer as a coach or assistant for school sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, mini golf, and T-ball.
Grandparent Volunteer Opportunities
Grandparents are an essential part of our community, and we welcome your involvement in school life through meaningful volunteer opportunities at The College School. Whether you’re supporting classroom routines or helping with school-wide events, your time and presence make a difference.
Event Volunteer. Assist with setup, hospitality, and coordination at community events such as Track or Treat, the Book Fair, and Grandfriends’ Day.
Early Childhood Support. Spend time reading stories, helping with art projects, or lending an extra hand in Early Childhood and Kindergarten classrooms.
LaBarque Green Crew. Join seasonal clean-up days and land stewardship efforts at our LaBarque Campus—a peaceful and purposeful way to support outdoor learning.

Alumni are always welcome back at TCS! Whether you’re looking to give back, earn high school service hours, or reconnect with old friends, there’s a place for you here:
Speak on Panels. Join alumni panels during special events or student milestone moments.
Field Trips. Return to your roots and join students on TCS-style adventures, from day hikes to overnight trips.
