No doubt you have memories of your school experience. Some of them are certainly warm and inspiring, and some of them might be more challenging. Either way, we know that as we grow up, our schooling experience shapes who we are. That said, your memories are just that–memories. They are in the rear view mirror.
At The College School, we are dedicated to moving forward. We are not in the business of replicating educational experiences we all had decades ago. The experience our students have is exciting, challenging, and finally, transformative. Students leave The College School as capable, thoughtful, reflective people who are well equipped to overcome any obstacles they might meet. We are in the business of making memories for our students.
A graduate of The College School can be identified readily: they are confident, comfortable with classmates and adults, and they are prepared, academically, socially, and emotionally. We are intentional about challenging our students and creating a space where mistakes are viewed as opportunities, where growth can happen incrementally or dramatically, and where students accomplish things they never imagined they could.
The College School graduate is resilient. The College School graduate is gritty. And The College School graduate succeeds and thrives in a world that sometimes can feel chaotic. Why? Because we’ve already created an environment for them that demands innovation, collaboration, and creativity.
