PLANNED GIFTS

At The College School, we are proud of the bold, independent, and community-rooted education that shapes every student. With a planned gift, you can make a lasting impact and ensure that future students experience the same joyful, student-driven learning environment.
What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is about finding thoughtful, tax-wise ways to make a meaningful gift—often one that may not be possible through an outright donation during your lifetime. These gifts can support The College School’s future while helping you achieve your own financial, philanthropic, and personal goals.
Who Makes Planned Gifts?
Planned giving is for everyone—regardless of your age or income level. Whether through a bequest in your will, a gift of retirement assets, or a charitable trust, there are many flexible options that can align with your values and circumstances.

AREAS TO SUPPORT

The Annual Fund supports every student, every classroom, every day—bridging the gap between tuition and the full cost of a College School education.

The College School is embarking on Adventuring Together: Make Every Space A Learning Space, a visionary capital campaign to reimagine our main campus.

The Adventure Education Endowment was established to honor Tim Wood and his visionary leadership of The College School’s outdoor and experiential learning programs. This fund provides faculty and staff with opportunities to deepen their skills in adventure-based education and bring those experiences back to the classroom. Whether through wilderness training, outdoor leadership development, or curricular innovation, the endowment ensures that adventure remains a defining part of a TCS education. With every investment in our educators, we expand what’s possible for our students.

Established in 1996, The Knaup Family Scholarship Fund ensures that every student at The College School can fully participate in our transformative outdoor camp experience—regardless of financial circumstances. In addition to supporting student scholarships, the fund also provides for essential resources that make our Adventure Education programs safe, accessible, and enriching for all. This enduring gift reflects the Knaup family’s belief in the power of outdoor learning to inspire confidence, connection, and growth. Thanks to their generosity, no child will miss the adventure.
