Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish, Northwest Missouri State University
Katie brings a breadth of experience to the classroom. With degrees in Biology and Spanish, she has worked in community development in Tanzania, where she helped establish agricultural programs; taught English to children and adults; partnered with local communities on education and health initiatives; and developed lasting cross-cultural relationships. She has also led teams, coordinated events, and served families in a variety of leadership roles. Katie, an alum parent, has been a valued member of the TCS community for several years. She believes children learn best through hands-on exploration, curiosity, and opportunities to make meaningful connections with the world around them—an educational philosophy that aligns beautifully with The College School’s mission.
