Kathryn first joined The College School community when she completed her student teaching at The College School in 2011. After student teaching, she joined the Early Childhood faculty. Kathryn earned her BA in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, along with her Missouri teaching certification from Webster University. In 2015, Kathryn visited Reggio Emilia, Italy with the International Study Group to deepen her knowledge and passion for the Reggio Approach. She has taught graduate courses and workshops focusing on the Reggio Emilia Philosophy, as well as presented at both international and local conferences for experiential education. Each year, Kathryn enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for outdoor education with the First Graders on their very first TCS campout. Kathryn has a love for the language of dance and is excited to share her passion with our youngest children. Kathryn and her husband live in Webster Groves, and are avid runners.
