Scott Hanson has been the Drama Specialist at The College School since the fall of 2000. Scott teaches communication skills through physical and vocal warm ups and challenges, theatre games and activities, circus skills, performance techniques and provides performance experience for all grade levels. He holds a BFA in Theatre, from Webster University and a Masters of Theatre Education from Fontbonne University. Before coming to TCS, he created, performed and taught for the nationally acclaimed, Metro Theatre Company, St. Louis Shakespeare and The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis. Scott created and toured the nation with four one-man productions: Singlehandedly Shakespeare, Casey at the Bat, Tom Sawyer and the Land of Nod. Scott is the proud father of two TCS alums, Emma and Keaton.
