From reflection to action! During their “Now What?” reflection following Wagon Train, one student’s idea sparked something powerful. All 27 second graders chose to create Kindness Bags to share with underhoused individuals they may encounter. Instead of receiving holiday treats for themselves during their class party yesterday, they chose to give to others, showing how a strong classroom community can turn empathy into meaningful action.
