Parent Partnership

Along with students, faculty, staff, and Board members, parents are an integral part of the educational community at The College School and serve as stewards, comprising a partnership that embodies the school's values and strives to live its mission every day.  While every family is unique, the parents and guardians of each child share common values and are partners with the school in providing:  

• Support for their child's academic and social development,
• An understanding and support of the school's mission, educational philosophy and behavioral guidelines, and
• A commitment to act with responsibility and respect toward all members of the school community.

Parent Crew

The most visible and dynamic example of this partnership is our Parent Crew.   More than a typical "Parent Organization," our Parent Crew encourages and promotes parent involvement in the life of the school and act as a liaison between the parent body and the school.  An important aspect of the Parent Crew is to build a sense of community. They do this through myriad activities and events, as well as financial and volunteer support throughout the year.  From school supplies to pictures, to book fairs, to the school store, weekly pizza lunches, or parent education, the Parent Crew is a vital part of the TCS community.
